Okay, now some of you are wondering "HOW the HECK do you find Jeff Hardy hot Medina?! You're weird!" Well the answer my friends is this.
Many of you know I am a big fan of wrestling. I first started watching WCW when I was 10, and I have been to 2 live wrestling shows. WCW Thunder down in Melbourne, and WWA in the Sydney Superdome. After WCW went bust, I was pissed. I was pissed I couldn't see my favourite wrestler at the time, Jeff Jarrett.
Then 2 years ago I found an add in the paper for WWA while we were doing a boring newspaper thing in English. There he was! Jeff Jarrett in Australia along with many other wrestlers to compete in the World Wrestling All-stars. Oh right! This was supposed to be about Jeff Hardy! Okay, well at the end of that year, we got Optus (cable TV) and found that WWF RAW was on the sports channel! My dad, my brother and I were then suffering from "Wrestling Withdrawal" and welcomed the channel with open arms. We got the paperveiws and watched Raw every Tuesday night. I, who never really the WWF was still craving what WCW had done which WWF could not.
I grew restless and bored until Eric Bishchoff came on the scene from WCW and the focus on possibly of Rick Flair taking over RAW started dying down. Along with that, he gave my favourite wrestlers more air time. Wrestlers like Booker T and Goldust and the process of the two to be Tag Team partners was one of my favourite storylines in the show. Their funny "odd couple style" union was most entertaining. That was the main thing that drew me to the WWF more...until there was Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy, the youngster from Cameron, North Carolina, with his high flying moves, courage and honor caught my attention big time.
That time I didn't really care for guys with big muscles. Jeff Hardy had a lean athletic look, always had his shirt on, (I rather guys with their shirts ON than off mind you) and that also caught my attention. Also the fact that he usually dyed his hair purple on more than one occasion reminded me of a certain purple haired hunkster. He was different. He stood out. I like individuals.
One match in particular in June of 2002 confirmed my feelings. This was the month that he was to take on the Undertaker in a ladder match for the championship. This was one of the best matches I have seen. There was Jeff. A small young high flyer, wrestling the bloody Undertaker! One of the most feared men in the business! Jeff Hardy also nearly won! I was there watching that match and every time Jeff was hurt, I was worried and sympathetic. As the weeks went on, I was always looking forward to seeing Jeff. I found out he has a passion for writing. Like me. I found out many things about him and my crush grew stronger. I knew there were much better looking guys, but he struck my fancy. Then came the 4 way Tables Ladders and Chairs match up on the Las Vegas edition of RAW. A big day for me. Jeff Hardy took off his shirt. That was the first time I ever saw him with his shirt off and my eyes practically popped out of there sockets at the sight! I knew it then, I was sexually attracted to him. ;D There you have it folks. Jeff Hardy was the first guy (In real life) that I thought looked hot with his shirt off! Just thinking of it sends shivers up my spine. I had to control my self to not drool over him while my brother and father were in presence. Then came Summer Slam 2002. That was the day Jeff Hardy was looking his hottest! His hair was dyed blue. He was wearing a skin tight long sleve shirt and baggy bright green cargo pants. Man I wish I had a picture of THAT! And then, the psycho daredevil did a Swanton Bomb off the top of the entrance onto one of the members of 3 minute Warning! (Man do I hate them! They are so annoying!)
Oh! And did you know the reason I like Kai from Beyblades is because he looks like Jeff? :D
