This crush in particular is - as I like to call it - one of those "look but don't touch" crushes. Why? Well, I don't know really...this crush is quite a weird one. And perhaps the fact that he's married with a daughter...but ANYWAY...Jon, the lead singer of my all time favourite band, Bon Jovi, is someone I've had a crush on for a while. Why? Well, look at him! He's damn hot, even if he is in his 30's! Is it just me or is it he just keeps getting hotter every year? I dunno. But that wasn't the reason I fell for him. Nuh uh. I love his songs. He's a brilliant songwriter! All his songs make him who he is. They are all a part of him. He also performs with an endless passion for what he does for a living. Very admirable. He and his fellow band members are a real life example that prove that dreams do come true, and It's only a matter of making it happen. It's just a matter of reaching up and grabbing that opportunity when it arises.
I also don't mind the fact that he's happily married either. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea some time ago, and I hope they stay happily married. Jealousy doesn't have a place here with this crush. It's not like a normal crush I guess. I like him because he's a great role model. I respect and admire him. I know he's drop dead gorgeous, but that is only the icing of the cake. There is so much more to him. He's an incredible man with a good heart, and deserves every compliment, award, right to his big fat paycheck. He's strived to become where he is today, and he has never forgotten his roots. He's still a down to Earth kind of guy, and that I've always been fond of.
What I'm trying to say, is that this isn't a crush in which I worship, but a type where I respect and idolize the person. Where I think this is a great person and one that I think people should look up to when wanting hope to achieve a dream. A goal. Anything they want to accomplish to know that it's always possible and to never give up hope. That nothing or no one can stop you If you want it that bad. If you want it that bad, you can taste it. That is what he's about. That's what life is about. He's a person that lives his life like there is no tomorrow. Lives everyday to the full. He appreciates what he has, and always remembers how he got it. So if you want something that bad, never give up. Keep trying and maybe someday you may just get it. That's what he did and now look where he is!
